The personnel of the Kxigsarkivet, especially Kxigsarkivarie Lif Soderberg, who kindly allowed us the publication of the illustrations of colors and standards, and otherwise assisted us when it was needed, together with photographer Bertil Olofsson who without a murmur provided his help.
Our illustrators. Marc Grieves, Kungshamn and Soren Henriksen, Roskilde. Torsten Snorrason, Copenhagen, who generously allowed the publication of his abundant material on Danish uniforms. Mr Kurt Rajala, who provided valuable uniform information. Lars Wickstrom, Slotrsarkivct and his personnel for excellanr service when we requested source material.
All good friends who in different ways contributed to this book and ensured its publication. Not named and not forgotten.
For our foreign readers, who wish to penetrate the subject "Swedish Military Flags" more scrutiny we will highly recommend the works mentioned in the sources, by colonels I-eif Thornquisr and Bertil Wenncrholm. Their articles from the 1970 - 80-ics, about Swedish Military Flags, were my great sources of inspiration before 1 dared to write myself. Their painstaking research, can never be overestimated. Their works include an exhaustive summary in English, so dont worry if You are ignorant of Swedish.
